Yep, I did it microblading. Something i never heard of last week got done today. I was pretty terrified of the pain when asethician said I could not have any numbing until after the first pass. For those that don’t know microblading is basically an eye brow tattoo. Cuts that look like hairs. The technician first drew outlines of my eyebrows and figured out that of course they were uneven. That meant realigning the shape to make both match. After approving the layout and arch then you approve the color, trying to come as close as possible to your hair color. Then the procedure starts. Did I mention no novaCaine? Fortunately a calming song came over Alexa at the same time I lied down - You cant Always Get What You Want - I took it as a good omen whereas my daughter didnt see the sign and just chalked it up to be a popular song. I got her back though as I forced her to hold my hand during the non numbing needle dragging on both eyebrows. The pain was actually tolerable but I always like to add an owww and good hand squeezing for theatrical effect. The sounds was like I’ve being scraped in small sections off a windshield. Before I knew three hours - yes this procedure took three hours - had flown by and I was done. Onto the healing process. Fortunately the technicians office was close to Bloomies and my daughter and I popped in for retail therapy much better than the chemo therapy planned for me in four days And yes, mom had her chemo last week and were waiting for her numbers.
